@@bikotheanimator6169 if you own an automatic corvette it's okay. Never fear, I'll take it off your hands you just gotta pay me what its worth, hahaha. There's a difference between bolting an everyday auto trans to a sports car and designing a properly good transmission meant for what the car is being used for. C5 & C6 autos are JUNK. Gear ratios are so high the power can't be used. Also alot of those cars you speak of aren't even standard autos, they're dual clutch systems

Great video that would have been awesome if the windows were shut all the way so we could hear that amazing exhaust! So many people think you can hear an exhaust better with the windows open. That may be true in person at lower speeds, but it's not true on camera unless you have a special or modified microphone for wind noise... Unfortunately, the wind noise was killing me with my ear buds on, so I took them off and watched the video and heard everything through my cell phone speakers, which have no bass. I hope you noticed this and made other videos like this, but with your windows closed? Best of luck with your C6. I love the LS3 Corvette!

Nicht wirklich sehenswert,abgesehen vom unverantwortlichen Verhalten im Öffentlichen Verkehr,zeigt er kein gutes Können.Gas auf gerader Strecke kann jeder ,seine Kurventechnik ist miserabel .Der Motor fällt in jeder Kurve in den Drehzahlkeller,also ,üben,üben,üben,am besten auf der Rennstrecke unter Fachkundiger Anleitung !!

Sehr geiles Video. Die Strecke kam mir gleich bekannt vor. Zwischen Neuwaldegg Dopplerhütte und Königsstetten. Da bin ich vor 25 Jahren immer mit meinem 2,8i Capri des Nächtens herumgeglüht. Damals gabs noch keine 50er und 70er Limits. Würde mich interessieren wie sich die Vette dort anfühlt? Ist ja doch ein recht breites und schweres Geschoss. Jedenfalls geiler Sound und cool gefilmt. Thx !!!

@Privat Priat Super. Wagen macht nach wie vor irre Spaß und die Reparaturen hielten sich absolut im Rahmen.

@Privat Priat Danke.Habe den Wagen mit 85.000 gekauft und habe jetzt 125.000 runter. Schwachstelle bei der C6 sind Kühler (wird undicht) und Balancer. Wurde bei mir beides ersetzt. Habe jetzt nen großen Voll-Alu Kühler von Dewitts drin. Das Ding ist nicht viel teurer als das schrottige Originalteil aber 100x besser. Ansonsten sind auch die Reifendrucksensoren bei dem Alter gerne leer und schmeißen deswegen Fehler aus. Habe meine auch ersetzen lassen. Ansonsten war nix und der Wagen läuft nach wie vor einwandfrei und hat Leistung satt. Man muss wirklich sagen, dass das Ding gemessen am Preis und den "nur" 400Ps in ner sehr hohen Liga spielt. Längs- wie auch querdynamisch.

@Privat Priat Ich würde mal so 1500-2000€ Rep budget einplanen für die Schwachstellen. Wenn man die erneuert hat (sofern kaputt) hat man erstmal lange Ruhe. Der Balancer ist praktisch die Riemenscheibe der Kurbelwelle. Das Ding ist Gummi gelagert und wird bei fast allen C6 früher oder später stark "unrund" und eiert dann. Das kann im Extremfall dazu führen dass die Scheibe fliegen geht und dann ist halt die Kacke am dampfen. Die Kühler werden gerne mal an den Sammlern undicht, weil die aus Kunststoff sind und nicht aus dem vollen Material. Deswegen am besten im Austausch immer nen Vollalu-Kühler nehmen (z.b. von Dewitts - super Qualität und geht garantiert nicht kaputt). Die Motoren und Getriebe sind grundsolide und bei guter Behandlung eigentlich nicht klein zu kriegen (Außer das 2005er Schaltgetriebe - da gehen die Synchronringe schonmal inne Binsen. Aber die 6G-Automaten sind ur-robuste Technik). Das gilt allerdings nur für LS2 und LS3, nicht LS7! Der LS7 hat Probleme mit den Ventilen (Die sind hohl, damit sie leichter sind. Nur leider brechen die gerne mal, was dann nen Motor-Totalschaden bedeutet. Deswegen müssen die auf jeden Fall gegen Stahlventile getauscht werden. Dann passt das).
