It was on a Sunday morning after church, when you used to feel so fulfilled.. It's like he's been there and he's kept that feeling as his roots, and that's what I heard.. I feel your yearn Cory.. We just wish that ALL churches.. Especially to pastors.. Return church service, to that kinda southern Sunday morning after church feeling.. Not what seems hip or new or trendy, but keep true to God and true to the meaning of CHURCH before business. Not BUSINESS church and FINANCIAL GAIN.. Mr. Henry. Thank you for opening that gate..

I agree. Cory H is the best player of the Hammond organ ever. And this is coming from someone who has amassed a large collection of records (yes, real vinyl LPs!) of Pop-Jazz organ material, from the 1940s through the 2000s, and is fervently devoted to any and all representations of great playing of the Hammond organ (-- with the Leslie, of course-- and that in itself, knowing what to do with the Leslie is all-important) . Cory is of another order. I honestly think he is the greatest Hammond organ player of all time.

@Tomica0315 жыл бұрын
With so many drawbars there are infinite number (it is not infinite, but really big number, 134217728 if my math is correct, and that is just for 9 drawbars with 8 levels, then there is adjusting of chorus, leslie rotary speed, reverb, percussion, overdrive level etc...) of combinations for a sound, so someone who is skilled can craft his unique sound that matches his soul. Cory is excellent example of one gifted organist who likes to tweak and adjust his Hammond sound to mood, tempo and dynamic, he never just plays few 'presets' of sound, he constantly adjusts the sound to his liking and thinks of color of sound like some extra dynamic and way to express himself even more.
