I know this is years old but I just want to say this: My heart continues to break for his mum. So much. I honestly can’t imagine what she went, as is still going through. She still has to be a mum even though she doesn’t have a child anymore. I just can’t even begin to believe that it’ll be 7 years in July. 7 years! It’s just beyond belief. It’s just heartbreaking. How one moment can dictate the rest of your life, or how it ends. I miss you Cory. Our tall, awkward Canadian, drummer guy. 💔💔

she's still a mom. she had shaun too... and cory will always be her baby no matter what. you're quoting the show too much maybe -- but thats okay. we all grieve in our own way. for me, i'll blissfully believe they will all reunite someday in the hereafter or whatever because we're all made of energy and energy never dies. meanwhile i'll keep cory and finn alive thru fanfiction and remembering his beautiful beautiful legacy. never forgetting him... that's how he lives on always.

@ Maybe I was. Exactly she’s still a mom, but what I meant was that she’s not a mom anymore to him and that must be so soul destroying. (I’ll edit that in to the comment to avoid further confusion). He truly was 1 in a million and so incredibly loved by so many.

You can see the pain in her face, she really felt it. The absent of his father is probably the one to blame...

I feel for this Mom, I loved her son, his talent and all he shared with so many, and he is much like my son, who is two months to the day older and nicknamed ShawnieBear. Thank God every day mine overcame his struggles.

I did not know him personally I know him as a fan well I know more about Finn then anything and it is hurt watching glee and then seeing the episode called "the quarterback" and not seeing him in it he was one of the members that maid the show funny. I miss Cory Monteith but I bet his family and and and even his costars in glee miss him. In the back of my head I try to figure out what the show would be like if he was still alive would him and Rachel get back to get her get married and have kids or would him and Rachel stay close friends. Rip Cory Monteith(Finn Hudson). 😭😭

Y'all don't find it odd that the scenen cory played where his screen mom tells him the truth about how his dad died and ironically she said he didnt die in Iraq but of a drug overdose she also said his dad was doing fine the first few months but gave into his addiction and now ironically cory dies the exact same way his screen mom on glee claimed his on screen dad died think about it

I told myself that’s the same thing that happended to him in real life

Yeah ryan murphy kind used some of the cast past as a way to enjoy the character. If you noticed blaine is in private school (so was darren), rachel a star prodigy (so is lea), puck a criminal (ironically so is mark), cory'a dad was a druggie(so was cory) and so on. He used this as a way get a good idea of them.... Crazy right?
@Lori-xt2lf6 жыл бұрын
I heard that his father wasn’t invited to the funeral. Now I see why. She says “blame” isn’t a useful concept here, but it sure sounds like she blames Cory’s father.

Thats not “mischief”, that’s sounds like undiagnosed ADHD - “he was constantly looking for stimulation”. Can see it in him. Most drummers have ADHD, being born a preemie has been scientifically proven to be a precursor to the disorder and unfortunately the old generations lost out on diagnoses and a lot of what is known and understood about ADHD today. When it goes undiagnosed and untreated it leads to severe drug abuse while the sufferer tries to self medicate.

"A life long battle"? I,m sure he wasn't addicted in preschool! Get your facts straight! God rest his soul.
@quirkypurple35 жыл бұрын
K M the facts are straight. she described him as always vulnerable. 15 was when he did the “code blue” aka a near fatal OD, but he was involved with drugs and alcohol for years before that. over half is life

The mom says 15 and even that isn’t early enough, Cory state’s himself that it began at 13 so it was the majority of his life.
@gd30983 жыл бұрын
She’s talking about a life long battle which includes an emotional problems. He longed for a relationship with his dad, and he didn’t get it. His dad was also off in the army. That affects children, and ultimately led him to make other bad decisions and ultimately death.
