Doctors said during my wife's pregnancy that our daughter would have Down syndrome. They gave us options to let her live or have an abortion. We said we didn't believe in abortion, we asked them to do the test again, and then we prayed non-stop. His grace was sufficient, and after a month, the doctors said that the test they did at first was wrong, and now she is 9 years old and healthy. Praise GOD, praise JESUS!!! ❤❤❤

I remember sitting in Rutherford county jail last year and praying with my cell mate, who was coming down from heroin. God called the prodigal son home in this jail. Thank you for going here and ministering to the boys in the Boro. Things like this are so needed. It is a helpless and hopeless feeling being that cold concrete place.

The part of this song that really touches me is the reminder that Jesus didn’t want heaven without us. He could have easily chosen to cancel redemption, but instead, He chose to die so we could one day be with Him in heaven. I’ve only ever been in jail once and that was literally a clerical error, but my oldest brother spent years in this facility right here in this video, I spent so many years angry at him, his addiction led him to one of those cells instead of being around to be an example. But one night I sat down after a long day at work, and was just listening to some music and the song “Words I Would Say” by Sidewalk Prophets came on, and I cried, in those moments all that pain and anger faded away, I knew that if God could see fit to forgive him, who was I to not. He’s been out for 6 years in January, he’s cleaned his life up and become a man any brother would proud of, found an amazing woman and has become a great dad and more recently a grandfather.

I was locked up for a crime I did not commit. I was looking at multiple life sentences. I spent years behind bars. I was angry and blamed God for most of my time. 23 1/2 hour lockdown. One day I decided to get back into my Faith. I read the Bible again, and again. I remember finally surrendering. I dropped to my knees and said out loud ‘God, whatever your plan is, I’m here, whether you prove my innocence and set me free, or send me away for the rest of my life, I will proclaim the Gospel, and spread Your message.’ Later that day, I heard Him say that the Ten Commandments would set me free. It wasn’t a week after that, that the main witness in my case came forward and confessed. They said they were at a Bible Study and the 8th commandment came up. Bearing false witness was against their beliefs, and they suddenly realized the consequences for of their lies. I was released. I was innocent of the crime I was charged with. But was not an innocent man. The Lord put me through that so that I would come out stronger in my Faith. I will pray for David. Please remain positive, the Lord is very capable of working miracles. I’m living proof.❤

Please pray for my nephew who is going to prison. I have been praying and got the call that he finally got in big trouble and they are finally locking him down. This is the biggest answered prayer for him. His mind needs healing and I pray the paranoia and thoughts are gone but none of that matters if he doesn't find you Lord, Jesus. All of this hard work and recovery that is in his future is futile and worthless if you don't take him and make him a son. Please forgive me for any bad influence I had in his life. Forgive me Lord, I was young and stupid, now I grew to know the Lord of all hosts, the God of Israel, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, He who sent His Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. It's interpreted that the 99 that have already been saved were safe and have been rescued. He temporarily leaves the 99 to save another. That is how I interpret it.

@hansherbst4475 I'm with you on that. But in the song, it is implied that in leaving the 99 for just one, Jesus is doing something special for the one? Jesus is doing no more for the one than He has already done for the ninety-nine. To think that you are more special to Jesus than 99 others is pretty arrogant and definitely unbiblical. Oh. My. Goodness. This song has always spoken to my broken heart on such a deep level. Coming from a very dysfunctional home filled with addiction, infidelity, lack of affection, screaming and fighting, and then finally the sudden death of my dad when I was 17. I cannot imagine how this ministered to those incarcerated because I know it’s only by the grace of God I didn’t end up there myself. So many broken children in our prison system. I get it. Thank you for pouring into them. I know that meant so much.

In both hemispheres, I've spent time behind bars with men and women that will be there for years... some of them, the remainder of their lives. I've been to few places, if any, that I've experienced the power and presence of God like in those facilities. It is a FACT that The Lord seeks out the lost, the outcasts, the meek, the humble, etc. etc. etc. & this is abundantly clear when you visit His children in places like this. Though in prison, He sets them free!
