It does seem like it’s mainly black people that this happens to. I watch a lot of reaction channels and most of them are black creators, at least the ones that I watch are. It’s really only the black creators I see talking about this and it’s not new. This is fucked up and I hope all of you keep bringing this very often. Cory is waking a lot of people up, I really didn’t even think about like that until I watched his video and seen all these other channels reacting to it and funny enough, all the channels reacting to this are black creators. I get that this video hasn’t been out very long but I haven’t seen a single non black creator talk about this and I personally think it’s because they just don’t believe that it’s only or mainly black creators with this problem. It’s something that needs to be addressed and I hope it does change.

I've been saying this. I had literally these exact same issues in terms of restrictions and copyright. He is right, they do not have the same standards for everyone, and I noticed one of my videos got human reviewed and blocked after the system could not detect anything, and the reason the system could not detect anything was because it was a completely fair and valid video, and yet a human manually blocked it. Until I then publicly stated the fact that it was blocked unfairly and then it was no longer blocked, they manually took it away.

The first person that comes to mind whenever this topic is brought up is Lovelyti. She’s black. Popular KZbinr. Spotify deals n all that yet her YT channel has been stuck at around 950k subscribers for YEARS. They will not let her hit a million. She is absolutely shadow banned. Every other platform she has is growing except here. That’s not a coincidence. I’ve subscribed to other KZbinrs (who are white) who cover the same topics as her and watch their channel grow and surpass hers with no problem.

Its just straight facts let me hit y'all with this, i am subbed to cory, berleezy, rdc, dontai calebcity and lenarr (youtube doesn't like griffy so he doesn't count for this story) when i log out of this account and just hop on youtube not logged in, you don't see any of those famous black content creators on the home page rdc and lenarr i get because they are a bit explicit in their content but calebcity who makes fun skits and has the most famous sounds on youtube? Or cory who is the biggest black gamer on youtube?

Then, what i realise that they do is that they recommend black content from about 5yrs ago all at once then recommend only their favourites daily just watch, you will see some old berleezy vids being recommend once every 2 months but their favourites get recommended daily

And the crazy thing is, as far as I know, pewdiepie, the most successful KZbinr on KZbin throughout his career has cussed his ASS off, while even at one point, having the most popular KZbin channel on earth. Anyone that does KZbin and does well on it should use it as a stepping stone to bigger and better opportunities where this shit won’t happen to them especially if you’re black. I have the feeling that this is nothing new and is deeply ingrained within the culture of the people that work at KZbin since it’s conception.

I hope youtube gets it together cuz this is a bad look for them. Edit: HOLY SHIT I JUST REALIZED THIS WAS ME BUT WITH INSTAGRAM. I’m white but I was stuck at around 445 followers for a YEAR and I only got around 60 likes on my posts. I clearly wasn’t a favorite on Instagram then.
