Unlike in other songs from the series this one doesn't say it but before 'Rin' is captured Len gives her some of his clothes and dresses as her so he is killed instead.

CONTINUED. A solider named Leonhart Avadonia saves Allen's life and adopts him as his son (making Germaine/MEIKO Allen's foster sister). But previously, Prim Marlon had a child with King Arth... thus, Allen and Riliane's (And Kyle's) half-sister, Ney Marlon. Ney is working at Riliane's palace as a spy for Queen Prim Marlon, her mother. One day she convinces Allen to kill his foster father in order to save Riliane from a plot to overthrow her. Allen kills his foster father. That is his main sin.

Ney was laughing after she stabbed Michaela, because she was following her mother's commands. When Allen found Michaela bleeding, he was sobbing. Rin gave the order for war on the "green country", especially all the green-haired women. Len didn't want to kill Miku, and Kaito hid Miku in a well. After Rin saw that Len knew where Miku was, she ordered him to kill her. Len finally made up his mind to obey his twin, but when he came to the well, Miku was already stabbed and almost dead. Neru had killed Miku, and Neru was disguised as Len. Neru, by the way, is one of Rin's maids. [If you only mean in this live-action, it appears to be Len.]

This will make more sense if I switch to their names in the story. Len: Allen, Rin: Riliane, KAITO: Kyle Marlon, MEIKO: Germaine Avadonia, Miku: Michaela, Neru: Ney Futapie/ Marlon... Okay, so in the story, Allen and Riliane are "separated for selfish adult's reasons" right? A period of chaos happens in the kingdom when King Arth and Queen Ann die. Riliane is attacked by a demon of Gluttony (that happens right after Twiright Prank) and forgets she has a twin.
