Cosmic Ashtray - Amazing Geologic Feature - Escalante UT

This was part of a longer hike and video which includes the Red Breaks slot canyons first before heading cross country to the Cosmic Ashtray. That original video is linked here:

Since it's long, I wanted to cut it to just have a video showing the Ashtray, as many people just go here and don't do the slot canyons. You start at the Harris Wash Trailhead and can just head up the dirt road until you branch off to the ashtray, or (as we did) we cut northwest through the red breaks drainage up the slots, and then cut east over to the Cosmic Ashtray. This is located off Hole in the Rock Road, south of Escalante, UT.

yeah it's one of the coolest things I've ever seen -- the original video with the slot canyons was almost an hour long so wanted to clip it in case people didn't want to watch 45 min of narrow slot canyons and obstacles -- but if you're into that check it out!
