That is sometimes difficult in the modern world to step back without feeling a sense of giving up. Society is structured around activity and stepping back can be quite a drastic shift. I went through that recently….have been going through it for months, actually. I had to breathe into the reflective space and learn patience with myself. Oh my gosh, I was just journaling about my cluttered mind! Writing is how I declutter and I have neglected the practice for decades. I keep a small one on me at all times so I can write first; speak later (or not). More great content from Tanaaz! Thanks! ❤

Hi! Yes, I agree! I don’t know if this is happening for you! All the things that you’ve hidden from seek to be coming up, and instead of being consumed by them, you can get on with your life whilst also not ignoring them or surpressing them! For me, anxiety is something I’ve always run from, and I’m facing it for the first time with more of a balance! This is the only way to get to our version of equanimity, otherwise we just keep jumping from extreme to extreme! Thanks for your comment

Thank you, Tanaaz! Lots of great insights. I am resonating with all of it. That quote "It's better to be kind than to be right." There are a couple of recent situations where this applies. I can see that for the sake of love and the collective good, even though I may be right, it might serve everyone if I could lead with my heart and not with my mind.
