Mine is working fine Maybe a few defective pieces got released ( just like PS5 disc issue pieces ) However if you have second thoughts you can go for the ares wireless ones. They are good too.

generally wired gamepad lamba chalte hain wireless se agar wire break na karo toh wireless mein future mein connectivity issues aa sakte hain but achi company ka dono wired and wireless lamba chalta hai Anyways minimum 1 year toh nikal hi deta hai wireless bhi ( because of warranty )
