I was thinking something similar to this. Even if he managed to somehow reunite with his family, the whole Punisher experience would leave him scarred for life. He would literally be having itchy fingers to pull the gun and kill somebody for a criminal act even with his family present. They might not like that aspect of him and find it difficult to cope with

So far I'm disappointed with the story of this comic. They made it sound like CGR was going to actually travel to various points in time in Marvel history and actually mess things up giving us some actual consequences, but instead it's just him inserting himself into popular Marvel stories.

Is Cosmic Ghost Rider a reliable narrator? These are awfully tall tails to be telling on his part... Is he bumming around doing this stuff, or is he just witnessing this stuff though maybe his connection to Galactius? Just on the idea of him defending Galactius and the Fantastic Four... I have a vary had time believing that Cosmic ghost rider would make a reliable council any court... Have you ever seen one court case where he does not admit to right off the bat killing people? He has no respect for the court.. Not a single shred of it.. and this is the story I believe he most like able to actually do the most good in...
