Sphexx head!! Love that you mentioned they are frustrating but they also look good. I see a ton of potential for this figure. I just hope they fix the pegs and peg holes for the small arms and wings. These are awesome to army build

These are so pretty they are really testing my "no Cosmic Legions army builder" rule. Bit of a problem rule for a hive mind species with presumably no individual characters, especially such friend-shaped ones.

Glad to know I'm not the only one having issues getting those wings and little arms to stay put. I've been trying to figure out if there's a way to improve the wing socket in particular. That little nub is waaay too tiny for solid connection. I did end up supergluing the swivel joint on the knee so it's just a hinge, way more stable now. The knee is such a pointless, unnatural place to put a swivel. I love the style of the Sphexxians. Just a few minor engineering improvements and they'd be perfect!

I'm an easy mark for alien bug people and I think I was more fortunate than a lot of Sphexxian buyers with my Sphexxian Prison Guard. He's delicate and I'm reluctant to pick him up off the shelf for fear of wings and tiny arms flying all over the place, but he hasn't fallen apart on me yet. Still it was a frustrating experience assembling him. The engineering of these figures doesn't seem entirely there. The pegs need to be longer to grab a firmer hold on the figure's body. I would love to troop build a few of these, but the frailty of the figures combined with the sixty dollar price tag make it a little prohibitive. All that said, they are great looking figures!

Agree on every front - I have one of each Sphexxian, but don't touch them if I can help it. Their job is to stand there and look cool.

It took me forever to get them in! I had to dunk it in really hot water for a few minutes, then insert the arms. It was still really difficult even then

I like how the squeaky plastic sound like an insectoid screech, like he's protesting for his personal space. The figure is beautiful. I wasn't expecting the set of wings to be included, they're great! No articulations for the mandibles is a sin. You WANT to move them, its just a given.

I want them to make a fungus zombie Sphexx! Since cicadas (which is what they like to me) can get infected with a fungus like cordyceps that replaces their sexual organs. I’m greatly disturbed by it, so I need it in toy form.

Enemy of the channel but fan of these reviews, pleased to watch. Beautiful but frustrating is just a part of Sphexx life. I like the way these alien insects look as well but not a fan of real insects. I respect them but they “bug” me ;)
