Sometimes non-video game music does it(like the band waterparks🤑🤑) but you really don’t see that often. What they mean specifically is probably how you build up to the highest notes in songs, where you go through the entire scale, go a few notes above the established ones, and go back down before the next part of the song.

I love that you revisited CHAOS CONSTRUCT with this song. I legit thought u just reposted Chaos Construct, which would be your entry. The titles are in fact very similar, so I’ve been delightfully surprised! My favorite bit is at 0:47, where it turns into a bit of a waltz. That’s so beautiful -v-. I also love the distortion noise you sprinkled all throughout the song. The ending also ends in quite a brilliant way. Absolutely wonderful work Azali! I also want to point out how I love to see connections and trends with songs, so in a way they can be related to other song’s stories. With this one, CHAOS CONSTRUCT was about the creation of a dice mask with 6 sides/personalities. It was given to a blank soul as the mask’s proper vessel, and with the two combined, become one of the fiercest fighters ever to be created, due to their ever-shifting strategy and teamwork. With this song, I would confidently say CHAOS CONTROL would be the song for the dice masks mirror match with itself. It’s complicated to explain how, but basically there’s a being in my worlds that is the god of matchups. They manipulate stories to make certain fights happen, and it quenches its power with spectacle. In this scenario, this god creates a puppet identical to the dice mask, controlled by their strings. However, the original dice mask is able to beat its mirror match, and escapes the grasps of the god. That would be the story which this song creates, and accompanies the scenario with for me :)
