The dots could be assets he uses in his winning or losing animation, the bells on his cap. I think the developers hide these assets under the character so they appear underground, but when you elivate your character you can see them. Just like how phoenix crow has normal crow under him when he uses a jumppad

They look purple like in the shadow realm but the map looks the same and you can see everyone

Fun fact:If theres 2 cordelius's (oppisite side) if one cordelius shadows one member of the other team then the other cordelius shadows someone else, all 4 will be in the same shadow realm. Fun fact 2:If 2 cordelius's (oppisite teamz) if one has mushroom Kingdom and one of there teammates gets shadowed by the other cordelous, that cordelius w mushroom kingdoms mushrooms will still appear evej if they aren't there. Edit:Fact 3(connects to fact one) :If all 4 are in the shadow realm and one cordelius whos on the same team w rhe other member goes up and kills the cordeliys who shadow realmed there teammate and the teammaye kills the perosn there cordelius shadow realmed the 2 will still be in the shadow realm since technically they didn't kill the person they needed to.
