As a man I swear I never would've thought I would relate so much to a woman who shared my exact same experiences. I had to leave my toxic family as well in 2020. I only felt sad for my nephew's who loved being around me. Once you truly cut off your entire family the freedom and peace only makes you realize that you've been in a cage that held you back. Same, it only took me until 47 (in 2020 😵‍💫)Even though they (mostly Jamie, my older sister & and mom)who is manipulated and earrily similar toxic emotional and at times physical abuse, bullying, gaslighting endured I can finally see the truth and could give af about their miserable lives they thrive in... They even went to the same level in desperate attempts to continue to hurt me as I put boundaries they intentionally sowed disconnect with my nephew too. We are both on the spectrum and have trouble communicating, already reminding myself how truly disturbing their true intentions are for me and hurting my nephew only for their inhumane gain. I am thankful for continued clarity, discernment, and strength to persevere and have faith that this is all happening for the greatest of good. All darkness will come to light. 🖤⚡️

My sister and I dealt with years of extreme neglect and abuse, and when I turned 18 I was at the point where I would have killed myself if I didn't get away. I moved across the country to live with an aunt I hardly knew, and soon after both my mother and sister committed suicide. I have been loving building an honoured practice the last month where i am just enjoying the motions of yoga. Recalling parts of myself in a non addicted correct way.
