Yeah. Cosmo is actually the one who saved the day over and over again. He's the one who thought up the idea of turning the failed play into a musical. He's the one who thought up of the new catchy title. He's the one who thought up how to compensate Lina's failed voices while cashing in on her fame. That's why the chief loves him, because he's the one who actually got the job done. In sports perspective, the actors are mere athletes, while Cosmo is the guy who thought up the concept of sports (specifically, the guy who fixes all the flaws of the sports).

Cosmo was the hero of this movie, without a doubt.

I agree with this 100% without him. Don's acting career would've been over

Cosmo was the central figure who made everything move. Beautiful performance, but then every performer in that movie was perfect. My all-time favorite!

Donald O'Connor was that movie. He was positively sensational. I'm in agreement with you

Fantastic video. As a big fan of Singin In The Rain, this video was just great to me. Thanks. And Cosmo was definitely the glue that brought all the parts together.

Donald O’Connor is so underrated. Check out his movies omg he’s one of the best tap dancers (and comedic actors) in the golden age of Hollywood 🎥 ✨

Underrated? When did *that* happen? When did he go from being one of the most highly regarded, immediately recognizable icons of Hollywood's Golden Age to being "underrated"? 🧐
@shelleywantiez7964 Жыл бұрын
I do agree, he was grossly underrated.

Name any young person you know that ACTUALLY knows who he is. Ig I should have said “nowadays” because people today would have no idea who he was. He did a movie with MARILYN MONROE. I mean talk about being unfairly underrated

In the Moses Supposes number I can’t take my eyes off Donald O’Connor. Gene Kelly might as well not be there.

Bruh, but Cosmo isn't real, it is just a voice in Don's head. Schizophrenia hits hard.
