History of the hookah industry in Russia

Greetings, dear friends, my name is Marik Cosmo. With our team, we make documentaries about the hookah industry in Russia, its development, formation and prospects for the future.
Six months ago we released the first film of our project on KZbin, where we introduced you the ones who participated in the development of this sphere whose activity has led it to the leading positions on the hookah market.
Now, we present you the second film about hookah industry, devoted to tobacco-free mixtures - alternative product for smoking, in basis of which the tobacco leaf is replaced with tea leaf.
What's so interesting about it?
The fact that the leadership of tobacco, in 2022 is so unambiguous. And it happened, thanks to tobacco-free mixtures, a product which was not given a chance just a few years ago.
You will also learn how paradoxically, the smoking restricting law provoked the development of Russian tobacco market and the hookah community and became one of the reasons for the rise of a new wave of hookah mixtures.
And it all began ten years ago, when exported "tobacco-free mixtures" from global brands came to Russia. For example, "SoeX" which was made of sugar cane and “Shiazo”, volcanic stone that acted as a sponge for the flavorings.
You will find out in the next two hours what it all led to and who was involved in it.
What’s next? Can the Russian hookah community change the world again? There is no definite answer, but one thing is certain - nicotine consumers are no longer divided into lovers of tobacco, tobacco-free mixtures and smokers of electronic cigarettes. And awareness of this fact can help in the fight for the consumer and keep hookah as a unifying phenomenon.
