It's producer interference. Most castmates were unwilling to talk to or interact with Christine because of her actions off camera, so they had to use Vanessa as a go-between. I feel bad for her.

She didn't want to cut off Christine and the only way to be able to keep friendships on both sides is to acknowledge Christine's flaws and try to fix them, that way the rest of the office doesn't feel Vanessa is just okay with Christines obviously bad behavior

Honestly, Heather and Maya are suspect to me. Heather’s sitting there nodding her head as Davina’s making those terrible comments. Meanwhile, if someone so much as suggests Tarek has a hang nail she loses her mind. Maya says that there was nothing wrong with saying “nobody gets married to get divorced” to a person who’s recently PUBLICLY divorced and not understanding how that’s humiliating. Heather walking away saying “I just wanna enjoy the wedding” not having Chrishell’s back. They’re both suspect and I look at them differently.

Your the only 1 calling these 2 out and I'm glad for it . Heather got super defensive about her relationships but she participated in some drama. So yeah if 1 thing Christine was right about is that she was jelly fishy. She only climbed on the boat with the others suddenly when Tarek was spoken of and when the others seemed to outnumber her Christine and Davina. Maya is kind of playing both sides without being too neutral. You don't have to get involved but actually she has also been participating but she gets a pass coz she has a cute foreign accent

@@Megz129 Thank you and agreed! Maybe Maya didn't understand the concept of Chrishell being humiliated because she might be thinking "well if you did nothing wrong you shouldn't be humiliated". That I can kinda understand. But the playing of both sides and acting like you don't get it is a bit wild to me. Davina was clearly hurt and lashing out because of it but her behavior and blaming it on Mary was unjustifiable. As for Heather, from her silly beef with Amanza to her kneejerk defensiveness when people bring up her relationships, she's got a lot of growing to do. Hopefully, it happens sooner than later. They all do. They don't have to be Chrishell's biggest fan but the lack of social awareness and empathy coming from adults is concerning.

She's gotten lost in the character she plays on the show. You can't interfere with people's livelihoods off camera and be confused when it has on-camera consequences.
