Liquid Architecture (LA) is Australia's flagship organisation for artists working with experimental sound and listening practices. Based in Naarm (Melbourne) and running strongly for over 20, the collective supports radical interdisciplinary experimentations while offering a platform for artists working with sound in ways that defy definition.
Liquid Architecture’s programming engages with a multiplicity of interpretations and ways of listening, and contributing to conceptual ideas of sound through academic research and explorations of sonics from Indigenous standpoints and experimental music traditions from the Global South.
In their film, they focus on two outstanding local acts: Kalyani and E Fishpool.
COSMOS - Le Guess Who?’s global music community - partners up with 8 international collectives to create documentaries about their local scene. The full films premiered during the festival, and can be watched for free online via leguesswho.com/cosmos.
