To see the interior of the ship outside of blueprint mode, there is an eye icon in the window for your ship (below the ship name has the current speed and the distance to destination and to the right of that is an eye button). That button shows the interior of your ship so you can watch all your little crew persons run around crazy.

It was so hard to watch you leave your crewmember floating out in space. I cried. He had a family! A dog! And then I was excited to see he was still floating there alive on your return trip. You thought he was somebody else's crew... Only to die just before you picked him up. The rollercoaster of emotions over here!

You couldn't pick up items to move them because you were in box selection mode. On the bottom left (near where you turn on blueprint mode) click the Star Trek hand. That's the grab tool. Also, check out room's movement speed. Your crew was being forced to walk through room, instead of corridors, which almost all decrease movement speed. During combat they couldn't power your weapons and shields continuously and that's why you took so much damage. On the bottom right when in build mode there are bars. They should have a marker for recommended power generation and crew levels, as well as their current levels. If this is all fine, also make sure your crew is moving well, like not traveling through rooms to get to the reactor.

Actually, the guy with low oxygen trying to get to the ship was one of your crew. You took off too quickly and he was valiantly trying to catch up. Your ship is very underpowered after all of those modifications. The shields can't protect it due to low energy production.

Catherine notice the question marks on the map. You flew past one after the copper asteroid going to station. Sometimes its a dangerous pirate station, sometimes its a valuable treasure. This time it was treasure, just a small box with valuables. Once the question mark has been in visual range it disappears, so it'll be hard to find afterwards. Hope you can still find it....

Ever since you showed this 5 years ago I've been playing it on and off. For a game that's now only coming into early access, it's quite polished because it's already been playtested by thousands of players. Granted, the steam release has a lot of new features that are not as polished, but the core mechanics are super solid.

The existence of your good cat implies the existence of your evil cat. Which one is the evil cat? And let's not speak of the super-evil cat. Also glad to see you picking this up, have been watching your 1.0 factio megabase series recently to update my factorio powers for playing the Space Exploration mod (putting the liquid right up to the chemistry labs next to inserters in pairs was revolutionary), and been playing the earlier free version for some time and it's very exciting to see it so close to launch and you doing a series on it! The creations some of the older players have been amazing. I can't wait to see you discover the absurdities of the ion beam, the railguns and the missiles. And of course the factorio-like science of how to build efficient and fully self sufficient support modules for the weapons systems that waste nothing and lets the crew travel in efficient loop corridors between the rooms that are under high stress in combat (energy to shieldsand weapons, ammunition). Ended up building a ship myself that was entirely composed of physically isolated self-sufficient modules for each kind of weapon system, built around an enormous section for flight systems. Now it seems I will also need a module for resource storage. But I shan't destroy the discovery process for you, lycka till från Skåne! :D

I don't know any evil cats. You are making bizarre and illogical assumptions. (That's like saying "I have a good job", ... and implying you have a bad job too... very few people have more than one job. Non sequitur.) Skäne??? I always wish to be back....
@Hust912 жыл бұрын
@@KatherineOfSky I have been schooled in the ways of logic. Then again, how do you know your job is good if you didn't know of bad jobs? Dun dun dunn! Mostly being silly. It's very nice here but the electricity prices are not fun at the moment. :P Just gotten to your 2nd episode and you have probably noticed this since, (and after writing this comment I see others commented on it too) but on the off chance you have not: A consistent issue seems to be that your primary systems are insufficiently supported by things like crew, reactors, and fast pathways between the primary systems and the supporting systems. Enemies aren't taking down your shields - your crew and single reactor and the complex path between reactor and shields and weapons makes them unable to keep them supplied even out of combat, let alone bring them back online before the battle is over if they go offline during combat. Like in Factorio, if you want you can look up guides others have made on how to make efficient logistical systems to keep weapons or shields running very consistently.

I think the developers have ruined the game. I'm talking about crew cabins, before it was possible to put 8 doors, now only 1. This is very limiting. Also, why did they add resources? Useless crap that clogs the game. They could add new weapons, new battle tactics. I can't say enough good things about optimization. I sincerely love Coosmoteer and it hurts to see how it is "improved" ...
@KatherineOfSky2 жыл бұрын
I disagree completely. The change to the door situation makes it more of a puzzle and you have to plan better. I like it. Resources: those are FUN! Bring on the Factory!!!!
