This unlocked a childhood memory of staying at my grandparents' house. It was a small home with only one guest bed, so my parents took that while I slept on the living room couch. Since it was the living room, I had access to the TV, and I'd always tune in to the channels selling jewelry to fall asleep. It was what I like to call Proto-ASMR. It’s a good thing they weren’t selling Grandilf the Wizz’s staff though-I might’ve had to steal my parents’ credit card for that one.

This is nostalgic to me in the exact same way! I remember sitting in my grandma’s bed, waiting for her to finish doing something work-related or finish using the bathroom, and usually the tv would be on some infomercial like the video here portrays. I was always so fascinated by them. In a way, my grandma’s bedroom felt like a storage room for things about to be sold in those infomercials. It was so messy, but in a cool way. It had so many old things.
