Cosplay Contest - BronyCon 2014

Bronycon 2014 is proud to present once again the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic Cosplay Contest! Show off your talents in the “art of the dress” and strut onto the catwalk for all to see. Contestants will compete against other talented cosplayers in front of our judges for the chance to win some fantastic prizes. This year our judges will be members of the cosplay community as well as two special guest judges: G.M. Berrow and Claire Corlett! If you are interested in participating, please come to pre-judging between 12:00pm-1:30pm before the event to register to be part of the contest.

That was me. It was to pay tribute to CM Punk, who quit the WWE earlier in 2014 when he was told that he wouldn't be Main Eventing WrestleMania 30 and that he was forced to job to Triple H in his hometown of Chicago in July (which was meant to be his last match and that his contract expired). Everybody at BronyCon praised my cosplay, except Security Guards. BronyCon security told me to put on regular clothes or I will be removed from the convention. This was my first time going to BronyCon and now I'm being told that I was going to be kicked out for wearing CM Punk's tights from SummerSlam 2012 that I spent $200 on? I put on regular clothes, marched into the Security Office, and demanded my right to wear my cosplay. I told them that WWE is PG and BronyCon Cosplay Policy is PG. So in short: My cosplay IS PG!!! After showing a picture of CM Punk wearing the same tights as I'm wearing, BronyCon Security told me to put it back on and apologized for the inconvenience. Ever since then, my cosplay became a highlight for the next BronyCons: 2015 marked the debut of custom made tights in resemblance of the 1st episode of MLP and 2016's custom tights were to BronyCon's 5th anniversary.What else? AMC's Comic Book Men (the men filming in front of the stage on the bottom screen) put me in the episode because they love the cosplay. Pro wrestling website Threemanbooth wrote an article about me wearing and how much they praised it. In 2015, Corey Graves of WWE, a friend of CM Punk, came to BronyCon to film an episode of Culture Shock and when he saw me wear the custom tights, he took 2 pics of it (one as myself and the other as a selfie). Not to mention, he loved it. Sadly, I wasn't in the episode because the WWE does not want anything to do with CM Punk. At PonyCon 2016, Laruen Faust (creator of MLP: FiM) and her brother loved the cosplay. Plus, her brother is a CM Punk fan, too. Bonnie Zacherle, the creator and founder of My Little Pony, loved the idea of mashing MLP and wrestling that she "wishes me good luck on my wrestling match". Translated: she loved it. Also, at PonyCon, French News Station, KeepInNews, loved the outfit that they put me in their broadcasted March episode about Bronies. Later in 2016 and to this day, WWE Legends that attended Maryland Championship Wrestling for autograph signings, loved the outfit. The ones who loved it where Hillbilly Jim, Jim Ross, Koko B. Ware, and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Plus, some MCW fans considered me to be one of the best people to ever show up in outfit while everyone came casually. Also, Kirk White, founder of Big Time Wrestling in San Francisco, CA; offered me a job to work for him in my CM Pony outfit. I told him, "I'm a cosplayer; not a wrestler." Kirk says, "I don't care! I WANT YOU TO WORK WITH ME BECAUSE I LOVE THIS GIMMICK!" If I ever go to CA and BTW is still active and Kirk is there, I'm up for it. In 2017, I'm bringing CM Pony back but as heel character (villain). Not only is it a mashup of CM Punk and MLP again, but this time, I'm planning to add Finn Balor to the mix.

+Fritz Rolle Athletic Brony In the early comics, "New Mutants" and "X-Force", Deadpool was a supervillain. In future comics and to this day, Deadpool's an antihero. So for Deadpool to be listed as a villain counts.
