Hey Chris ! About the neck seal: you should cut the velcro stripes in small pieces, so that it still "sticks all the way but now it's way more flexible, it will allow you to bend your neck forward !! Can't wait for the finished look ;)

I've never been so excited for a cosplay reveal. I'm loving your ideas and the direction you're going. I'm a fan of the scars, I've always thought he'd look a little different considering what happened to him. You're nailing this, Chris. Big fan of this one!
@johnanderson13527 жыл бұрын
Hey Chris just a thought of the face scars, Jason in the comics and the animated film died in an explosion, so why not give him scars tearing across his face like something blew up in his face, might be neat.
@goji2537 жыл бұрын
But.... but.... when he was resurrected thanks to that crisis thing, he was completely fine (well, despite the fact he was buried) and Talia bathed him in the Lazarus pit afterward to heal any remaining wounds :/ The idea is neat design wise, but it really makes no sense.

Also worthy of note Chris is that in the comics Jason was said to be a natural brunette but batman made him dye his hair black to look more like Dick did as Robin. I remember seeing a lot of pics of him with brown hair and his grey streak so you could get away with just the streak if you wanted. ^_^
@digitaldude9697 жыл бұрын
I'm making my helmet with Eva foam and I have the magnets inside the trench of the helmet. because it goes from the back of the head to the end of your chin it's super open when you open it for breathing room. highly recommend the magnets. down side would have to be the extra side of the head support needed because the top of the head gets uncovered, so you need something holding it up around your ears.

Hahah I use a neckseal on my Iron Man suit, I totally get what you mean with the restricted movements. That said, I always like putting it on because, a: it completes the suit, and b: it gets me into character more. I don't know. Something about having my neck all suited up along with the rest of my body makes me feel like I'm not just wearing a shirt and stuff, but a whole suit that goes from my neck to my toes. I don't know. It's a weird feeling. But I always stand up straighter and take a more heroic posture with the neck-guard on XD Love the look of the helmet, can't wait to see how it goes.

Hey Chris, I was wondering if you were planning on adding some shoulder pads/arm/shoulder muscle suit underneath the leather jacket to make you seem more bulky (even though you're already buff). I've noticed from a lot of Red Hood cosplays that the head seems over bloated by the helmet which makes the final overall suit look out of proportion even though they fit the wearer well. So to compensate for the "big head" you should think about shoulder pads if your end result helmet seems too big in proportion with the rest of the suit. just a suggestion. Helmet looks awesome btw.

I feel as though you should go the magnet route because the welders helmet look would take away from the over all costume and with the multiple parts folding out while it would look cool I feel like if you had a whole face plate come off it would make for a better look for when you take it off to reveal your face

Just an idea, but why not include the scar from the Joker's smile on one side? Heath's Joker liked to "put a smile on that face" so I'd think that he'd mark Jason with it.
@lunaze53437 жыл бұрын
It would be cool if you made the helmets face part come off by pulling it out a little, then sliding it over your head. Kind of like the first iron man movie where instead of it just flapping up like a welders mask, it slides over the top of the helmet.
