8:07 This timber/wood preservative material, is there a colored/clear alternative to this Carbolenium? And the application of it, coupled with standing on a ladder all day by yourself... Wouldn't it be better to apply the oil immediately when the 50X75s (correct me on the timber size) are done with? I know I might get existing reasons behind the building process, which mostly rests on continuous habits. I enjoy these videos bcs none of us ever get a full day at a building site, so you sometimes wonder where improvements can be made to make working barrable, and smart (time, money and energy-wise). It depends on the size of the house, what style of roof you going for (hip roof, flat roof, gable, school house look, or lots of shape) and what roofing material you plan on using, Metal sheeting or cement tiles.. (cement tiles require more trusses vs IBR roof trusses.) Pre-manufactured trusses do come with, delivery to site, installation and gaurentee from the roofing company so you do pay a bit more for that.. The total for this roof was R102k, see 8:51
