Great guys ! We use 2 system paired together at our church. They are very good for the price ! And we use as well the Hollyland Cosmo 600 wireless video system. Thanks a lot

how well does the video system work. and od you know if it works with a blackmagic switcher?

great idea shining a light into the camera, really exemplifies the notion of the 4-light setup. Why aren't more people doing this ???

would you be able to show how to integrate in an established clear com system?

The manual says the 4 pin XLR is for DC power. Does that also work with clearcom? I don’t see any documentation on that currently.

I'd love to hear how you train/onboard new camera operators. What do they know or what have they gone through before they go live the first time? Also, how do you train your team to frame each camera and get the soft movement you see in the final broadcast?

We have a video coming about training video ops! But it’s pretty much a shadow system! They shadow for a few weeks and then we shadow them for a couple weeks before they are on their own! As for camera movements and framing! Check out our Cinema Broadcast Course on Production online! Jesse and I go into detail on how we do our style!

@@DrakeKelch Thanks for the reply! That’s interesting that you take four weeks before they go our independent. Where online do I find that course? I tried searching but didn’t find it. Sorry 🤷♂️
Just wondering why exactly you think it’s a step up from blackmagic comms? We use blackmagic comms and its very clear and excellent quality. Yes you don’t get 2 channels or comms, and push to talk is slightly different to normal systems when you need to make it a button on an ursa. So the main difference I see here would be wireless with a audio quality trade off. Not saying these are a bad unit as I am actually suggesting this as the system for a school I am setting up for live streaming.

It’s a setup up in the fact that it’s wireless and I found the headset options to be better and sound better than BlackMagic.

Thank's for that review! I was wondering, could it be connected to a ATEM constellation? So it could combine Hollyland and Blackmagic com?

Any concerns with reliability? We have a Telex RTS wired system and it's fantastic. I'd love to go wireless but I worry about dropouts, static, etc.

Have you tried using the Point Source cm-i5 headset with these? Any issues with using a 3rd party headset on them?

Are you able to set up multiple party lines on the hollyland?

A T1000 product and no "I'll be back" jokes? Disappointed.... Also didn't hear mention of the RF band, but at 1.9GHz it should be clear of any UHF mics. Any other gear you all use in that space? Wireless cameras etc? Overall nice product and great walkthrough!

Unrelated to the topic… Does Bethel have any sort of contract or agreement with the people who serve that they have to pay at least part of the cost of replacing a new item if they damage it while serving?

That’s what insurance is for. You don’t want people having to worry about that. Especially volunteers.
