You can learn informally, but you can't study, register for courses or work. They are very strict about this.

A C-section/ natural birth is covered if you are under your university health insurance plan. Double check that you're enrolled when you resume , you will usually have to pay for it but it's very affordable compared to the cost of delivery. If your spouse is on a work permit, he can get the provincial health card free of charge that will cover all of you. I detailed this in the video below (also linked in description box)
