I own what society would call a nice house on a few acres on the outskirts of town. I only work three days a week as I am a former soldier turned corporate adviser and now semi retired in my late 40s. The other two weekdays I spend maintaining the grounds as it helps calm my PTSD. (The weekends are family time). The upkeep on the house and surrounds has made me realise that if I live in it for another 20 years, I have that amount of time to slowly make it as maintenance free as possible. It's a wonderful property with amazing 180 degree sea views. It has a small jetty at the bottom of the hill giving access to the ocean (therefore a small boat is required to be permanently moored there), however, all these amenities require attention. The seasalt doesn't make things easier...lol It's a constant battle to keep everything up to specifications. Footbridges, walls, mooring lines, landscaping, treehouses, swings, zip lines, viewing platforms, firepit, lowtide walkways, decking, pool area, cabana, fruit trees etc Just when you've finished one area, another requires attention. If you don't have the stomach or finances for it, be content with a small home and use your spare $$$ to hire an AirBnB with the amenities for a week or so. Just like in this video, the bigger the house, the greater the upkeep. You either do it yourself, pay someone else or live with the consequences of a rundown property. The rates, electricity (despite having rooftop solar), water bills etc are significantly higher than houses in town. In a way, it has forced me to turn the property into a resort of sorts as I figure if I'm dropping this amount of cash, I may as well enjoy it...lol Sometimes less is more. Probably why Elon Musk doesn't have a home in 2022. It's a distraction from his real work. Good luck

I've never seen a man this open and realistic. That's what makes watching his videos entertaining and informative. Hes not bullshitting and fabricating riches and income and over inflating his ego. He said hes paying low 3% on the home for mortgage which is about 480 to 500k a year. Divided by 12 your paying 40 to 50k a month. And another 20k in other expenses just to keep it going! This is coming from a man who's got real estate buisness, investment, stock market, franchises. All that to keep his well earned life style going and what really educates me is that hes willing to drop it and move on. No attachment to home or cars or material things. This really shows just much of an illusion these rappers and celebrities put on about their income and why rappers go broke. You need steady income comming in

When a child is abused psychologically, emotionally, and/or physically, they become genetically and environmentally positioned for depression, mental disparity, and low self-esteem. The negative genes and sensations of emotion become locked into place and rarely become reversable. The position of power, money, and control affords you the opportunity to try to quell the sensations of abusiveness that you had witnessed throughout your life, so you try to mask the negative emotions that you harbour within you with a lavish lifestyle, physical accomplishments, and attained attributes in order to mask the depression that you feel in order to sooth the inner painfulness. But nothing could ever erase these feelings. You can only learn from them and try to accept your life as it is. Your family may not be interested in your health and well being also. Their lack of appreciation for your position in life and what you give to them, warrants true love and attentiveness for your true emotional needs and health issues, but is quite apparently missing from them.

On 2Wheels I know basic math and purchased a few houses myself so I’m speaking from experience. Nothing to this scale but just look at the numbers. Properties are only investments if you rent them out or a quick flip, you never live in them for a long period of time because operating costs eat up your investment. The house isn’t going to appreciate 50k a month. Well what do I know....

That place still only costs about 2% of his monthly income. You could say he's living well below his means 😂😂

16 mil and a mil a year and your neighbors can actually piss in your pool from their home..... sweet...

I know right? For 16 million I'd have eight hundred acres on the top of a mountain and no Neighbors.

@Im here because im bored I don't see the point on spending 16 million dollars when my neighbors can look inside my house from inside their house. That's not worth $0.15 to me.
