Full of misinformation, prices are not up to date. Decent overview of BKK as a citty. But a lot of info is not adjusted to 2024 and the actual state of BKK.

Why cook instead of Street Food? Hygiene?? Why no one talks about this. Always only cheap cheap cheap... I walk the streets, see dog laying down on the table where they serve your food next day. I see how they wash their pans with dirt water. Yummy. And don't forget: often these are not educated people who are serving food for you. They don't know about hygiene or healthy food. They just cook something delicious. But having a delicious food is not everything. You should be very careful with Street Food.

@NomadNestNN I like street food, when it is made in a restaurant or a shopping mall, like Icon Siam. If I buy on the street, like many westerners, I have problems with my stomach. I also have a Chinese master and when I met him, he immediately said: never buy street food in China. It is the same problem.

@@RaumfuerSpiele yeah… that’s tough! Luckily, Bangkok has countless amazing restaurants with high standards-I’m sure you’ll find some that suit your taste and comfort level. Street food isn’t for everyone, but the city’s food scene has something for everyone to enjoy!
