For anyone new watching this, the cost estimates are fairly low for rent. Even if you are looking for roommates, budget upward of $1200. $700 will only be if you are lucky in your search or you are in a far flung suburb. As for studio prices, good luck finding one, but if you do expect closer to $2100 for anywhere with decent public transit or near any major schools.

This video is now outdated Prices were that when I recorded I still have many friends paying 700-800 in their rooms near flight schools Rent in downtown is way more, for sure Also pointless to live in downtown for flight training

@@FlyWithPedro Yeah if you are near flight school that seems realistic (didnt catch onto that). I live near downtown and found a nice room for around $900, but I got super lucky and it took a month of constant searching and applying.

No reason why a student should live in downtown tho, so loud, dirty and messy haha much better to live in a better place and commute 20-30 min

I hope u can respond to my comments, because i'm willing to study in vancouver if u allowed to work 20 hrs per week, that's 80 hrs per month, the minimum wage in bc is 15.65 15.65*80 = 1252 that's before taxes, that's not even the net income how did u come with the 1600 number?

you can work... but part time jobs won't be enough to pay for the tuition fee, just housing, food and other expenses.
