The cost of living seems to be increasing every year, making it harder to keep up.

HI Fadia, I have watched most of your videos , liked the bgm and your simplicity. as I am planning to visit dubai next week. Even i am interested in shooting videos and making vlogs So if possible if you could share which editing software do you use to edit your videos? and do you use mac or windows laptop?

Hello there! Thanks for supporting my channel! I use the default iMovie on a MacBook Air - the old M1 (2020) version. Hope that helps 😊
@siddharthraj80908 ай бұрын
@@fadiafarid Even i use old Macbook Air '15 Monterey OS but the final cut pro is not supported anymore, so was thinking of premier pro or davinci resolve.. Even iMovie works well enough but i am looking for something long term(will look forward to travel and upload more videos in coming future) so to learn short keys, quick editing, good effects , transitions etc etc ..

Hi Fadia, thank you so much for the information shared in this video. It really helps me and my wife's decision to move to Dubai. May I know how much does it cost for Spouse and Children visa per year? and do you think 15k Dirhams is enough for a family with one child to live in Dubai? I'm keen to hear your opinion. Thank you in advance :)
@fadiafarid4 ай бұрын
I’m not sure about child’s visa but I did make a video about the cost of spouse visa a while back, you have to scroll down my channel a little bit. 15k is enough for a family with one child if they’re not in school yet. Once they’re in school it’s about 12k-64k per year depending which school you send them to and what grade they’re in..

My husband and I would absolutely move back to Malaysia in a heartbeat if he’s given the same salary bracket as in Dubai hahaha 🤣

So in 8000 dirham we can survive in dubai decently with family and one kid
@fadiafarid8 ай бұрын
It’s a little tight if you have a kid, especially if they’re in school. But yeah, that’s the ballpark for essential expenses 😊

why do u pay insurance in malaysia when u don't live there
@fadiafarid7 ай бұрын
I have one prior to moving to Dubai. We travel back and forth from Malaysia to UAE a couple of times a year so I keep it. If we moved back to Malaysia for good when we’re older, the insurance premium would cost a lot more and might not cover everything
@ImranAnsari-iu4og9 ай бұрын
I heard Malaysia is much better. Why did you movie to Dubai
@fadiafarid9 ай бұрын
I would say that it depends on the industry when it comes to job opportunities in Malaysia. I moved here because of my husband’s job offer 😊

@@fadiafarid Oh okay. What would you say on UAE or Malaysia, which is better overall.
