Those supermarkets look more orderly and filled up than our supermarkets here in the UK! £85 on what you came away with is A LOT though. How do the locals manage? Maybe a lot of people still grow stuff. Crazy.

Good to see you. Food prices are exorbitant everywhere. Someone said ia another vlog thst it was cheaper to live in Jamaica than the USA. Dont know how true. It seems almost the same to me. Have a beautiful and blessed family weekend🎉❤

It is vary in some ways. For instance rent is way higher in the US. My one bedroom apartment is US$1050. The equivalent of that money in Jamaica is over a $150,000 and maybe a 2 or 3 bedroom is about Ja$50,000 -$60,000. When it come on to food it's a different story. 🤗😊

It's only cheaper because most people grow stuff like tomatoes, callaloo, peppers, pumpkins, breadfruit x ackee, mangoes etc.

The prices are competitive. It's almost what I would spend here in the USA and it's just me alone.

Hi there, we do grow some food in our yard. We have a banana tree but the banana's were not ready yet. We also have soursop, ackee, June plum, sweet potato, pomegranate, gungo peas, and plantain to name a few.
