Thanks for sharing. There's nothing wrong with those produce bags. They can be repurposed for many other uses.
@DutchSailingFamily2 жыл бұрын
You're right, they can be used for other purposes, but just imagine not using the plastic at all!! Much much better
@0f-the-land2 жыл бұрын
@@DutchSailingFamily Hey there, thanks again for the video. Over the years manufacturers of all industries have inundated all markets with plastic items. Some have been good, but some unnecessary. Glass bottles for beverages didn't have to go to plastic. But they insisted. Taxing the 'consumer' for plastic bags(and/or eliminating them), is just a way to shift the blame on the 'consumer'. Many of which, had no say so about the overabundance of plastic items in their society.
@DutchSailingFamily2 жыл бұрын
@@0f-the-land that might be so. At the same time we all have the choice to use or not use them. Personally I don't like finding them back at the beach or on the street blowing about so try to stay away all together. If we somehow all did the same that would definitely make a difference!
@0f-the-land2 жыл бұрын
@@DutchSailingFamily True, we all have a role to play. But bags are mostly blowing through streets because the town/city wont perform proper street cleaning. And the bags at the beach might be what has surfaced from a company/etc. dumping their garbage in the ocean. Because the bags float they come back to shore.

When i compare it to the prices over here, the Diapers, Bread, Milk and Eggs are way of the charts! The rest is pretty much the same. We also import most of the products in the supermarket. But the remarkable thing is that the total costs of your shopping bill is the same as the average wage in Suriname 🇸🇷!! 😳 The purchasing power is very low over here...so we support our locals every time we shop. Maybe because we ourselfs have a local production business also...😉 Thanks again for the video. I am curious about the minimum and average wages in Qatar 🇶🇦 ✌️
@DutchSailingFamily3 жыл бұрын
Hi again Paramaribo Closer!!! Wow yes that is really interesting that you give me an insight into how prices are over in Suriname as well. Very nice to know! To me also some of the items are really overpriced. But I think it mainly has to do with them being imported.. like specific vegetables.. Kale for example.. prices go way up. Yess wages would be interesting too, maybe I can do that together with info on getting jobs here in Qatar. Need to do plenty research but it's interesting so I hope to come out with that soon! 👋🏼🎉🤩

Hi, thank you for your videos. It answers many questions.. I wonder if you could reply me about the query I have. How the kids are coping with the hot weather in school, during play times, P.Ed/Games lessons etc? I understand their school timings are such that they are back in home by the time the weather starts to get really hot. But still it's hot during the time they are in school. I'm curious to know how children are managing. Thanks again.

Hi there, the schools have big shades over all the outdoor playgrounds. However there are a few weeks in the school year where they are only allowed to play outside in the early morning hours. After that it's indoors in the gym areas. Hope this helps!
