If you're wondering about the cost of living in the US or a total breakdown of monthly expenses in US, this is the right video to watch as it will give you an idea of how much I spend monthly in USA, specifically in North Carolina. From renting to car insurance, and groceries, I covered everything in this video, as it is basically a detailed budgeting overview of my monthly expenses.
I used to live on $1100 in Atlanta as a graduate student, but since I moved to North Carolina my expenses has skyrocketed. I shared a detailed breakdown of my expenses in this video.

For Phone plan, Switch to Mint Mobile, is $15 a month and $180 a year. It saves me a lot. For international calls, I use Skype which is $10 a month for 60 mins to call Ghana numbers.

@@AdelekeAugustus you alright. My own perspective, it shows you are being responsible with food money. Your groceries is higher than your restaurant ….kudos. You don’t eat out excessively.

If you withdraw your money in IRA befor your retirement age you will most DEFINITELY pay a penalty. Example if you have $50000 in your IRA you will only get probably $35000. Please read more on it. Don't lose your money to the government. They are already taken a lot as it is.

I do have Roth, ETF brokers as well and I’m glad you’ve jumped on it early. You wouldn’t regret this. I would also suggest your savings can use a High yield-interest savings account or invest it into a stock market broker like Acorns, M1, Fidelity, Vanguard etc. and you would be surprised with how much it grows.

Hi Augustus, I know this doesn't really relate to the vid but as an international student is going for a masters in Physician Assistant (PA program) okay ? From my research it's very common in the US only.
@AdelekeAugustus
@AdelekeAugustus 3 жыл бұрын
Yes, the PA program is very rewarding. It's quite expensive, and you might have to take more pre-requisite to get into the program because you would need some hours of clinical experience etc... but it is a really good career path. Good luck~
