Cost of my 08 yz 450. Bike $1900 (in good shape) After tearing down the bike it was obvious the previous owner didnt believe it maintenance. $1800 later on the rebuild and buying needed parts like a skid guard, brush guards, every bearing from the ground up I'm $2500 deep into restoring the bike. Probably sell the bike for $3800 where I am so by the time I'm done I'll be out about $1000. Not about that though. Nothing like bringing back a bike from the dead.

If it's hard to start it's probably jumped a tooth on timing probably needs a new timing chain man it's like $25 and easy as hell to fix

Man great deal I got a 2015 myself which I got for $900 but I had to replace the frame because it was cracked so in total I spent $1300
