This year, with my 4 year old granddaughter staying with us, should be lots of fun. We’ll be coloring eggs. Most will end up being brown. Her and I won’t care so long as we have fun. Her basket will be filled with toys and candy. With a couple pieces of good chocolate from a local chocolatier. My husband and I will get the 3 older grandkids and our daughters a few pieces of the good chocolate, as well. Getting chocolates from the local chocolatier was something my late mother started when my sister and I were teenagers. I’ve continued it with my family. Have a happy Easter.

My husband and I just moved to southern California, so I plan on filling his Easter basket with lots of Sunny California themed things in a red/orange/yellow color scheme :)

I plan on putting in home made cards and chocolate....and with a stuffed animal and a journal and I like to add in activity books for the kids with watercolors and crayons and markers depending on the age group. Oh and I like to add in some bubbles and fun things that might get the kiddos outdoors and active after this long winter. AND it wouldnt be easter without some kinder eggs

I make a basket for my 4 yr old grandson. He enjoys the big chocolate bunny with yellow peeps. I add small toys here and there along with other little candies. The colored eggs are hidden in the yard. One special GOLDEN egg has a $20 inside.

My Easter baskets will be filled with some candy, socks, homemade cookies, a video game for my son, hair combs and hot pot holders and a fuzzy cowl I crocheted for my daughter. My children are grown but have not yet gifted me with grandchildren.

only one basket for us this year,my 3 yr old grandson.And I am on the lookout for dinosaur eggs,since I live out in the country an hour drive to any sort of big store,I am shopping online.Id have to guess the most popular Easter treat has to be Peeps,,,so much that they make peeps for all seasons these days :) of course a big chocolate bunny with candy eyes,jelly beans ( remember only eating certain colors?) colorfully wrapped tiny chocolate candies in different shapes and some uncandy goodies like the dinosaur eggs,a matchbox car,bubbles included.I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter,and remember what the holiday is celebrated for. :)

Went to your blog and was shocked with the candy info. Never had thought it would U.K. and also didn't know Peeps were the most popular. I thought for sure it was choc. bunnies. Thanks for doing the giveaway.

Comment left x we do the full family thing on easter sunday at my parents house with mum & Dad, my sister and her daughter, my brother and his wife and their 2 kids, and me and my partner and our two kids. Mum and dad take the little ones to church and then when they get home we all go out back and roll a boiled egg down the brae in dads backgarden, (yip all of us none of us are allowed to get out of it) then my sister and I organise a egg hunt, for the 3 little ones, then the boys take the kids and the dogs out a walk and the kids to a scavenger hunt for a list of items then we let them all play out for a while, enjoy a chinese takeaway to save mum cooking, then all the kids can have one chocolate egg each, before we head home. Easter Monday is our family day with a picnic down at the beach/coastal area family is top priority for all occasions in our home xxx

My kids are older. For many years now since they are older I did a small basket with snacks, gift card and chocolate bunny. This year I plan to fill it with a few sweets but mainly a coupon for a lunch with mom and/or dad. Like I said they are much older but still live at home and we both could benefit from time spent together in this busy world. (and they get a free lunch haha)

When we were growing up …My Mom started a tradition at Easter…the Easter Beagle would hide our Easter presents and we would have clues that lead to subsequent clues until we found our hidden Easter present… unfortunately Mom passed away before so was able to meet her great grand kids..I have 3 grandsons who enjoy hunting for easter eggs and finding clues to their big Easter present …from Nana’s Easter Beagle...Clue1 will be found in their baskets

I left a comment. For us Easter is more about fun than it is about candy. My son still enjoys our Easter egg hunts with prize filled (and sometimes money) eggs. He also enjoys when we get a Pinata and I stuff it with confetti and little toys. One year he almost whacked his dad in the head because his dad got a little too close. :) - Heidi

My husband and I dont have children but we do have dogs so we bake doggie bisquits in spring shapes bunnys and chicks and use carob to decorate them. Then we usually get eachother our favorite choc mine any with pnut butter his with coconut
