Vince yap I've been on 6 cruises but was staying in the depths of the ship. And never heard their horns in the ship unless we were out on deck. Quite impressed you can't hear such a beautiful sound even from that far down!

Must have been another ship in port. QM2 has four horns. One on the bow, one on the mast and two on the funnel.

There are some ports were they are not allowed to blow horn for severol resons,close to were I live we have a small port and they are not allowed to do that however they are allowed to do it some distanse from port so I hear at times horns as they are going inn to the port
