I don't understand the country entry data section. Where it says "Place of entry", are they talking about where in Costa Rica I'll be visiting? It also says "Date of entry" but only allows you to enter dates up to the present, not in the future.

How much do you charge to apply on someone's behalf? Are you immigration lawyers?

I am running into a problem with the medical insurance. I have a private medical insurance that renews in December each year. Now we are here in February and I want to apply for the visa, but because my policy renews annually, it shows that it expires and is due for renewal in December. My insurance company is unable to certify that I have insurance past the current expiry date. It would be such a huge waste of money to have to buy another year of insurance today just to meet this requirement. It doesn't make sense! What can I do?

Great video, thanks for the information, we are almost there but got stuck. Im trying to make my payment for $100 using WISE while abroad, I see the IBAN number but WISE also needs a 10-digit company registration number (CJU Cedula). This should start with a 3. Could you let me know where I could find this number for the wise transfer?

@@jmv_nicaragua No unfortunately not, I contacted Start abroad and they did this on my behalf since I was out of the country. If you are in country you can do this on your own. If you have a Costa Rican bank account you can do this by transfer instead.

If you have a in-country bank account, you can transfer the money bank to bank within Costa Rica. I could not figure out how to make a wise payment and have it go through correctly

Do we have to get bank statements translated? I have two different business accounts for different currencies. But over the course of the year there are a LOT of sheets. I've been quoted $25 a sheet to translate which is going to work out really expensive. But its just numbers. What exactly on there would be translated and does this really have to be done?
