I MISS THIS PLACE SO MUCH!! I went with a class to install solar panels for a spring break and we stayed here! Amazing experience and amazing people!

Holy crap, how cool! I have been wanting to do this for three years now; however, I was still in high school. I am now one year graduated and have been working in that time. I plan on doing this next summer though! If you don't mind me asking, how much money did you spend total? How long did you stay? Lastly, how much time were you able to explore out on your own and hike etc.? Any information will be greatly appreciated! Awesome video- so captivating!

Thank you so much! You should definitely go WWOOFing if you're interested- you'll love it! It was super life changing for me. I have a bunch of info on my website about it ( www.elizabethcouse.com/ ) and I'm planning on filming a full video with my tips/experience soon! I was at Villas Mastatal for a little under 2 months and I spent almost no money because I got a grant from my school. If I hadn't gotten the grant though, the only things I paid for while I was there were my flight and the volunteer fee which was $15/day. I also went on a weekend trip to the coast/beach which was less than $100. WWOOFing is an amazing way to budget travel! And I had complete independence while I was there! Everyday I would go to a new waterfall or trail and get lost in the jungle by myself and it was amazing. We had so much free time to explore, hammock, read... it was incredibly relaxing!
