I have the JDM f23A, bought it as a crate when i blew my f23a1. I'm in the process of a N/a build and I'm lovin it. Its different than all the civics, Love the torque this puts out stock. Before I started modding I beat my buddy's GSR which had a few bolt ons. Now its pretty quick, with cold air, header, got a hi-flow cat, personally welded a dual exhaust from the cat back, looking to get into fuel pretty soon here. I love the accord because its kinda like Hondas forgotten weapon, its nice to see them instead of all these 06 civic si's everywhere

Any internal parts for the na build ? I'm going to buy a f23a jdm spec and plan on NA building it idk of an ecu would be a good Idea like a hondata any tips ?

There is no doubt you will enjoy this car. Especially since you have the f23 5spd, you wont have much maintenance issues like the v6's do. One recommendations would be keep a nice wax on the car as clear coat peel is more than common on the OEM paint.

Also Theres a great forum 6thgenaccord.com Go on there make an account, theres how tos on there even ones for doing your headgasket. and if you run into problems you can ask questions even cheap parts for sale. Hope that helps

BoostedofCourse yeah I know man I seen some one do that swap in a crx with some k20 pistons and a couple of lil goodies and was pushing out 260whp, it had a crazy high compression

Same boat. H22s will stay N/A. I'll get a f23a block for css and boost. Cost and function is much more in favor to one's pocket book.

How much did it cost to turbo your accord? And what did you do for emissions? Badass car by the way.

cost about 2000 bucks, i pieced everything together myself. was a little tricky keeping the AC and PS so that was a little extra cost. No emissions where i live. and thank you. Im currently building a g23 turbo for this car. check my other videos.

Where did you get that manifold. Will the hood close with the wastegate sitting so high? Did you use hondata to tune? What size injectors?

Yeah way over kill, I was planning on increasing the boost and yes even then stage 4 would be overkill but there was no real price difference so i said hey why not plan for the future rather have a heavier clutch than to light of one.

Hi I have a 01 2dr accord F23 and I want to turbo it 😀 but I am kind of new to this turbo thing I know the basics and how turbo works but I am not sure where to start so if u could help me out by giving me some info on how to start and what I can exactly use to run a turbo with stock internals I will appreciated

I wouldn't do it on stock internals. I have a CEL for a bad torque converter on my car right now, not sure if I want to upgrade it at this point, but if I do, JDM F23a fo sure and of course manual swap, then maybe boost. I'll keep you posted on my endeavor if you like. I am new to cars in general and my friend is pretty much doing it for me.

the F23 engine is a low compression engine with a cast iron block so although its single cam its a great engine for boost on stock block. If you check my current videos though i'm building a boosted g23.
