​@@n.s.5278Stuck in the US, they are correct. Everyone thinks that this is the perfect country to be in. Nope. It's VERY VERY expensive to live here. I am moving hopefully to Camposol with the next 3-4 months and getting out of the US. I have a 1200 sqft home and between property taxes and home insurance , I pay almost $11,000 per year and my mortgage is roughly $3100 per month and payed $450,000 for this small home.

You can do it! Adeline, I am always around if you need a friend while you settle in and its not part of the service but always willing to help others when not working within reason, lunch, afternoon out if not working show you the groups you can volunteer for people always make new friends joining clubs, I understand it can be daunting starting out

HI JOHN & TRACY, overall cost which is my personal costs for my clasico and I don't have a mortgage or pay rent .is as follows this may not be the same for everyone ,it depends on usage ok. Electric costs me 50 euros per month last month it was 41 euros ,water /waste bins)/sewerage 55euros every 2 month .if your from UK pool tax called IBA IS 175 EUROS FOR OUR HOME BUT YOU PAY MORE DEPENDING ON PLOT SIZE OR BIGGER VILLA. SORRY caps on lol, HOUSE INS 150 200 PER YR BOTTOLE GAS AS WE HAVE A GAS BOILER WE PAY 18 EUROS FOR BOTTOL ,DEPENDING ON IF YOU COOK BY GAS AND HEAT YOUR WATER BY GAS PRICE MAY DIFFER. I DONT HAVE CENTRAL HEATING BUT I HAVE A LOG BURNER AND AIRCON ,WOOD PER TON I THINK COST US 75 EUROS,THIS IS JUST FOR THE VILLA NOT CAR INS FOOD ECT WHICH AGAING I THINK IS CHEAP ,SORRY I JUST NOTICED CAPS ON AGAIN FORGIVE ME ,HOPE THIS HELPS BUT EVERYONE USAGE MAY BE DIFFERENT X

Good question! @kennycelt I would say you would need to speak spanish. Hi Carole, very interesting and love your videos as it is so much better than just photos. I, like yourself, love property and would love doing the job you do. Is it easy to find work like this or is there any advice you can give as am contemplating a move myself to Spain and would need some form of work there. Not looking to make a fortune but would need to get by. Also can I ask, as you mentioned cost of living at about 600 per month, I am assuming this excludes any form of rent or mortgage? Keep up the good work and I think you have already won me over to the Camposol region.

Hi Dermot. The names Marie 😊 yes 600 euros without rent included. I think sometimes you may have to create your own work. And sometimes what you plan is not how lifes path takes you.it is hard out here as everywhere now as countries have been impacted with economic. But I think it's a good thing to learn Spanish. I did a video on synergy Spanish and find it very easy to learn with it.if you don't learn Spanish you may find work harder to find

There is a gym on Camposol on sector B I took a shot of it in one of the recent videos plus there is tennis courts for people to use by the Doctors sector on sector A hope this is helpful Barry x ps dont forget to like my videos after they run a min or two ta x

As noted there is a gym on Sector B and tennis courts on Sector A. In addition Camposol is very hilly and this handy for exercise.

Hi there, firstly I am not qualified to advise, it does not affect me as much as I'm from southern Ireland, my hubby from down under with uk passport, we pay into the system as we pay taxes self-employed here keyholding gardening and villa maintenance but you need to get your resident and NIE, private medical insurance which is around 700 euro, you need to ask on expat forums and such like, there is (costa Calida forum), nothing to do with me but lots of advice there, but some of it you can do from the UK, go to your Spanish consulate .you have to prove you will not be a burden on the state, so I think if you become self-employed you have to prove you earned a certain amount in the first yr of trading OR you need a certain amount of money in the Bank to show you can support yourself, there are some ladies here that are translators ,for this area like Debbie Shaw and Fiona Harvey but you really need to do start your research, sorry this is not enough ,i would not like to steer you wrong way x

Camposol is more retirement people live here there is a good social life with bar's music in summer and Xmas but if under 55 Benidorm may have the social life uour looking for. Down the port of Mazarrón their seem to be club's and music scene but I have missed out on social stuff for a couple yrs due to family commitments and soend s lot of time in.uk, but there is Facebook group's for Camposol if you ask on there as there is quite a few younger families on Camposol they could answer you better then myself.i know two couples who moved back towards Alicante way as they felt it was too quiet for them this end.

Hi blue dog ,yes there are a few roads that have suffered with subsidence on UPPER C area but NOT all of it and some have underpinned their homes now ,this happened over 15 yrs ago unfortunately you have youtuber videos recently that make out its happening now and trying to give Camposol a bad name when its actually a fantastic place & community to live on

All ages but mainly retired people I would say.swiss German Dutch Spanish American Irish British, it was mainly British but that seems to be changing in my humble opinion 😉

Covera Airport is the nearest i think its called Murcia international now ,around 30 min drive from camposol, you would need to hire a car really ,i would say Alicante has more flights but over an hour plus drive from camposol, hope this helps

Hello, I've been interested in moving to Camposol for a few years now. I've been saving up, so I can retire comfortable. The prices are very good and I love the roof terraces. My main concern from reading online is dogs barking. I've read that people just leave them out on Camposol and go out for the day. I can only imagine the noise being terrible and I'm very sensitive to dog's barking. Any honest help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I get the impression Camposol is driven at the older retired demographic, I am thinking about moving to Spain in the next year or so, Ihave teenage kids, would they find it difficult on Camposol?

HI there lovely ,for the main, there is a demographic of retired people but that been said there are a few teens I have seen ,on Camposol and there is plenty to do around the area ,such as just as you drive to the port there is like a stadium kind of area which has speedway , BMX, football and swimming so I have been told ,there is also the hotel Mariposa which during the summer does kayaking down hill decent on bikes ,archery, white water rafting ect there is a five a side football pitch on D sector and there is a crazy gold coming soon. you just need to come and explore the area to see how you feel about it your self. hope this is helpful regards Marie x

Hi Marsh ,yes it is essential to have a car if on or going further to the port or Mazarron or some kind of mode of transport ,ie electric bike is good to go to shops or i going for a coffee

Hi Firstly I am NOT a estate agent the lady I mention is Dawn [e-mail] she is the agent who allows me to video property for her clients , I love property and my husband does keyholding villa care and gardening, hopefully people may come forward with properties for Dawn to sell and myself to rent out on their behave as long, short and holiday lets but until then i will find out as we have quite a few people looking to rent like your self/I think Spanish world properties on Camposol do holiday lets I'm not sure about long term but i will find out and get back to you.

@garyleeluke There are schools in Mazarron and as far as I'm aware, a coach picks up the children on A sector every morning,I think you may be better off contacting some of Camposol's Facebook groups and asking as there may be people with schoolchildren on there. sorry I can't be of more help lovely

Thank you for this its really helpful to know the proximity to airports and health care . I was put of Camposol by a friend who thought it was a bit rough and that there were structural problems with the houses and the roads - although I heard these had been repaired . Its very helpful to hear from someone who actually lives there 😃

Camposol looks tired was my first impression, and only a few streets on upper c NOT ALL are in bad repair but people who live in the villas have straightened outside their villas and put right ,for the main you could not get a better community to live in and only urb in Spain who has a first response unit AND this is why him indoors said lets go look for our self's and make are own minds up ,so so glad we did

Camposol seems like that sheltered housing thing 🤪 no thanks.
