lol. I just buy stuff to make dumb comments about it. I dont know why I havent returned these to costco yet, I have no use for them lol. I have 2 generators and like 50+ flashlights and endless 18650 batteries and battery packs. maybe they are good for camping but I have no clue why a lantern would have a cable to externally charge something instead of charging port. these lanterns are just so dumb. but the real reason is they are duracell and duracell doesnt want you using rechargeable batteries.... if I went camping I would just use my 20,000mah portable batteries and LED lights running off them. they would last way longer than these and provide way more lighting. in fact I'de bring a few rolls of 16ft led multicolor lighting strips with sound sensors so they would flash different colors as we get mauled by bears

In his defense the packaging isn’t very clear . As a matter of fact it does not say anything about the usb except the picture it shows on the box. Zero explanation on the box and the instructions are just as useless. I know I bough them too . They’re trash. They Going back to Costco . 👎🏽👎🏽

Someone else said they looked online and it said to hold the button down for 17 seconds then it should work. I don't know for sure though.

yeah that's what I said LOL. the USB port on it is so you can waste D cells to charge a phone. how does that even make sense in 2022??? portable batteries are what you use to charge a phone not your lamp light!
