This three pack went on sale for less than $10cad recently at Cdn Costco's. Tried them out this evening (08/16/24) and wow, they are amazing! Very bright! Highly recommended! Cheers!

Hey, do you know how to intentionally turn the red LED on? He would think it would be part of the options with the right button, but the only way I've been able to get it to come on is by essentially unlocking the headlamp

First off just wanted to say thank you for showing how easy it is to put the headband on I always look on KZbin first when it comes to setting anything up even if it's easy I guess I just like seeing it over reading instructions this headband is way easier than the other one that takes the 4 AA with the stupid wire that attachs to the side but ya so I Just got these from Costco but strange thing is mine only came with two lamps and the lumens are 650 maybe Costco is different in Canada? Assuming your in the US by the fact you paid around 20$ for three I paid just over 30$ and they are regularly 37$ I also got the same lamp you showed in the beginning the one that takes 4 AA I bought it because the other one I had was 3 AAA and I found that I was burning through the aaa way to fast only reason I bought this one from Costco was because it has the rechargeable battery I'm hoping it will be decent otherwise I'm going to set out for a pricey one that I can recharge but last a long time

I had battery acid in mine after it was sitting for a few years. I cleaned it with battery acid cleaner and now with batteries inserted, only the two bottom red lights come on, NO HEADLAMP. I don’t have a left/right reset button on top, only one solid button.

red light is for seeing animals at night,but they cant see the light

Red light does not cause your pupils to retract. Ever notice when you wake up at night and turn on the bathroom light, it’s super bright? Try using your red light and you won’t have to that response.

​@@Str8Flossin That is soo true because I tried it at night when I saw a raccoon in my backyard; it does not have any reaction to his pupils, which makes me wonder if I did it right or if maybe he was too far to catch this reaction. Then I use it on my dog the same thing, nothing reflected. So you have a point and thanks for sharing!

I bought the pack that has recharable batteries! They just pop in the back like a regular battery

It's a tight snap but it fits. Put the Duracell label so it faces you.

Worked great at first but two of the three lamps would not hold their angular position. The lamp would flop and point straight down.
