At the holidays and family gatherings, my cousins and I had dish duty. I washed, my cousin Carol dried and my cousin Marie put away. We are in our 70’s and to this day at family gatherings, I wash, Carol dries and Marie puts away. Family habits die hard😍

Jude is Megan’s child for sure! ❤️ His little victory dance when the light pole came out of the ground was too cute and super “Megan-esque” FOR SUUURE! And Megan is freaking tired yo! 😂 How do I know you ask?… she’s speechless. 🤣 Take a nap Mama! We have a couple year older model of that popcorn popper. We love it, works great, hardest part of clean up is the plastic lid. Sink full of hot soapy water does the trick!

For safe mayo, use a mixer that heats...like a vitamix...or place eggs and lemon juice (or vinegar), seasonings in a 'top of stove pot' and heat..while mixing, heat up so that you don't risk bacterial infections from the raw eggs. Just a little 'heads up'. Keep mayo in fridge. I've made mayo this way for years...about forty years. Much safer.

Since I learn making homemade Mayonnaise, I don’t buy ready made mayo anymore, it’s easy to make and a lot cheaper too and the best thing is, you can adjust the taste the way you like it!

We are a family of eight and we use our stir crazy ALL THE TIME; it works great! We put butter on the top and it melts as it pops. We use coconut oil to cook the popcorn kernels in and it's so delicious! Merry Christmas!!!

Proper mayonnaise! I make it all the time. A little tip to make it even tastier to put a little bit of crushed garlic and a squeeze of lemon at the end. Plus season with salt and pepper. Always works best if your egg is room temperature. And if it ever happens that it doesn't emulsify well and stays runny, the trick is to hard boil an egg and slowly add just the dry egg york to the mix and whisk, works every time.

The key to making your own mayo is a room temp egg. You don't have to slowly pour in the oil. You can put all the ingredients in and just blend. Takes 60 seconds. We have oyster stew for Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas!

Homemade mayo requires extra light olive oil and put the handheld blender blade directly over the egg yolk without moving it until it starts turning white. Works every time....I've messed up a bunch of batches due to the wrong oil and not blending directly over the yolk. Also look up Chipotle aoile made from the base of homemade mayo...delicious and healthy!

To go to Costco’s was my Christmas wish. Didn’t happen. We have a membership to Sams which is 1 1/2 hrs away and couldn’t see paying for another membership which is 2 hrs away. I would have spent the money if I could include my dau. On our plan, but had to live with us. Maybe someday I will get there. Merry Christmas
