Might be an in warehouse only item. They are pretty new check you local costco soon :).

Sux but I don't think different vendors can really discount tvs. Same sales everywhere. The LG brings out cartoon noises (ping.boing.gwong.) but we all have to answer to God someday so $2500 when there are starving polar bears or whatever sounds like a hard pitch.

Yeah, similar to Apple products too. Not too many discounts on certain brands so when they do go on sale they go fast.
