those trolley wheels fall into the ledges that the escalator/travelator has and the cart itself then rests on feet that are next to the wheels. These things are incredibly common around me and that is the system i see them all use. Its very simple but works great. Also now you talk about the voltages thing, there is a pretty good chance those devices will be multivoltage seeing as how the power system in Japan is a bit of a mess and you would just need to get a different cable or adapt the plug.

A pair of those Crocs in Canada are about $80 cdn = £55. It would almost be worth it to buy online from Costco Japan. Shipping would about even it out price wise.

I have heard Japan is still a very much cashed based society, how have you found this? I guess at this stage while you are using cash it wouldn't be as noticeable but do most places also accept cards?
@beahewittlee10 ай бұрын
Cash is really soooo big here! I’m struggling with carrying cash again, especially coinage. I always forget to bring my money because I’m just not used to it 😂 A lot of places accept card, but you always need cash on you. Some smaller eateries only accept cash!
