This was so interesting. The mix between items I recognized and items I did not recognize. Our Costco here in HI is already different from the one on the mainland since we have many local items here. However, Japan of course is a whole different level :-) The two things from what you showed us I wish they had in our Costco were the masking tapes and the glue rollers. But I will have a look, maybe they have them and I never saw them before. Thank you for sharing!

💕 That was fun! When I saw those Disney pens I was like......."get them! Get them!" And then I was like......"she's totally gonna get them 🤗" And of course you did. Those asparagus biscuits did not appeal to me. But then again, I don't really like asparagus. I would be so overwhelmed with the different products. Being in Alberta, I was like YAY CANADA🇨🇦! whenever you get you showed the bell peppers 😉 Glad you had a nice outing and bringing us along. 💕

WOW!!! How exciting, Costco is sort of set up like in the USA. Is everything marked in English or only Japanese? Thank you for sharing your experience can't wait for more and your DIYs. Please stay safe and healthy.
@SeapandaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
The layout and setup is pretty much identical as the states, just alot of different items, especially food. Theres a white label above everything in English which helps when you can't read the packaging. I use google translate camera alot to read packaging.

That's so cool seeing the different things in Costco in another country! Are the people being friendly over there?
@SeapandaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
They are some of the friendliest people I've ever met! The Japanese will go out of their way to help you if they see you are confused or struggling. I got lost in the train station and someone came up to me to help me, I didn't have to go look for help.

Thank you so much for taking us along! Wow a lot of interesting stuff there! Are you required to wear masks everywhere? Or just some places?
@SeapandaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
In crowded areas like the trains, busses and busy shopping areas I would say it's more expected and not necessarily required?? I put one on when everyone around me has one on because I am a guest in this country and I don't want to offend anyone. Out in open parks and open areas you see people without them so that is when I will take it off.
@44hopeful2 жыл бұрын

nice video. can you do a video of costco japanese seasoning and skin care products?
@CaffeinatedInFL2 жыл бұрын
Are groceries cheaper there? I died when you showed the seafood/sushi section!!! So much more than my local Costco in Florida. How amazing.
@SeapandaCrafts2 жыл бұрын
It depends. Some things are and some things aren't. Fruit is pretty expensive here and some vegetables that have to be imported. It is definitely cheaper to buy groceries off base though. Our commissary on the base imports almost everything from the states and unfortunately the food spoils very quickly so it's better to buy groceries outside of base.
