Just bought 3 of these shelves this week because Costco is having a sale on them (01-27-22). I'm not sure if I will keep them. They no longer come with the second set of nuts and bolts (the bag with the hex bolts). They have now welded what seems to be bolt heads onto the beams where the hex bolts used to go. They probably did this to make it easier to assemble as this seems to be the biggest complaint with this shelf. I'm just not sure if it is as strong now as it used to be. It still claims 500lbs a shelf so maybe it is fine. Just wanted to inform every one.

Thanks for the video. Can i place the bottom most shelf 1 feet from the floor instead of all the way down ? That way i will have more shelves in total as floor will act as 1 shelf.

Yep that’s awesome idea.. you will get more shelves and space. Yes you can do.. but check if it’s standing straight and not shaking..

**THANK YOU for your video! ** I wish I'd seen it before buying this from Costco. I just got it delivered today and I'm so disappointed to see that it's NOT put together like other industrial shelving and pallet racking. I'm 65 year old woman who was looking forward to assembling traditional units with rubber mallet (I've done it before several times in warehouses) and was shocked when bags of screws, nuts, bolts or other fiddly bits and the "tool" fell out of the box. Arrghhhhh! I'm going to return this thing and buy a what I can work with. LOL, yeah...that "tool".

I finally decided and bought a MuscleRack (on sale at HomeDepot for $99 48" x 24" x 72" with mdf shelves - free delivery!) and put it together easily by myself with a 16oz rubber mallet and a paperback book for cushioning because I did't have a piece of wood for pounding. Man, I feel for you and give you BIIIIIG credit for putting together the unit that you did!! I'm disappointed that no other shelving units come in white like the one you put together...I really wanted that white one lol. Pink rose decals on that would have looked so good in my craft room. Oh, well...spray paint here I come!
