I lost my first baby at 14 weeks and one of twins a few years later. From the start, I said it was incredibly brave to put a pregnancy like this in such a public forum. I each blow they've had has taken me back. Then, I see the snowstorms they've been hit with on top of everything else, which when you're pregnant and already having issues feel so much scarier as you worry about the ... "Can I get out of here if..." My heart goes out to the entire family and hope they're all doing okay and just being snowbound for a little bit.

So glad you are feeling a bit better. I’m praying for you, my Dad (94 years old ) and my friends 35 year old daughter who went to the ER Friday night with a bad headache & nausea. Her husband insisted. They found an aneurysm in her brain. It ruptured during surgery but she survived and a 2 day stay is now 3 weeks. Life is so precious. Bless you Lauren🙏

You don’t have to add alcohol to the Fever-Tree Ginger Beer. It’s great on its own. It’s also to drink if you’re feeling nauseous… Just because the box indicates that it can be used as a mixer with alcoholic beverages doesn’t mean it has too - remember, coca cola is also used as a mixer too.

Yes the writing is Korean, Korean corn dogs are different than regular ones. The batter is a but different. Those are really good if you like cheese and potatoes. Not at Costco but some places do sell the Korean corn dogs with the actual hog dog in the middle and I have seen ones that have a fish cake in them, I didn’t buy those ones since I don’t eat seafood. My favorite small shop at the mall makes Korean corn dogs and the churro one is good and my favorite one is actually the sweet potato one. We don’t go often because its not close by but its a fun treat when we go that way. So glad baby B is doing well. Persimmons are good but they don’t have a lot of flavor, they are soft in texture more like the texture of a tomato than an apple.

Fuyu Persimmons: Eat like an apple. Keep them until they're ripe, which is a somewhat tough exterior and softer on the inside. It's a great mix of textures and flavors. One caveat - they can make your mouth go dry. There is also a other kind that's jammier and not as good as the future. No refrigeration necessary. Enjoy! Love to see you together and taking care of business on all fronts.

Persimmons are very yummy. You need to let them get super soft and very ripe. Pull the little top piece out and eat the inside with a teaspoon. So good. You don’t eat the skin.

I look forward to persimmons arriving in the stores every winter. I do eat the skin. It sounds like you let it ripen more than I do. I wait for the skin to get somewhat translucent and the fruit be a bit soft to the touch, but still possible to eat like an apple (though holding a tissue under it to catch the drips😋. They’re great mixed with some natural yogurt too.

I had a similar experience with my twin pregnancy. I miscarried one at 12 weeks. Spent the next 5 months on bed rest, then gave birth to a healthy 5 pound boy. Keep the faith,miracles happen. Love your family.

There’s a Korean corn dog place in the Dimond Mall called Two Hands. They have some good corn dogs. You can choose whether you want cheese or meat and then whatever toppings you want. They are actually very good. It’s a nice change from regular corn dogs.

Persimmon s you cut like you are cutting an apple. Have seeds in the middle. You peel the skin and eat. Different flavor. But they are good. Some people make cookies with them. And yes they are really good.

Persimmons are very good. Ripe when deep orange. Can put in a paper bag to ripen. Peel the thin skin before eating. Sweet somewhat firm texture. They are pricey. But nice treat since only out couple times a yr.
