your reactions are hilarious for things that we take for granted. Here in US, we love Costco. They treat their employees so well and you get really good deals. In US, we can tell by prices if an item is permanent or just trial basis by the price tag. If price tag is ending in 9 , it means it is permanent item. anything with .7 or 0 is on clearance, if it ends in .88 it is manager mark down, and an Asterix next to the tag means "death star", product will not be back since it didn't sell well (good to stock on those if you like them). Also Costco manages great prices due to their high volume of sales which gives them bargaining power and of course membership dues help as well.

You came to our Costco. Recognise that wind turbine anywhere 😂 we love the skippy peanut butter and the Costa instant coffee is very good value. Also the toilet roll, black backs and Kirkland washing pods are good, smells fine and they do the job. Also if you like bottled water that is very good value 40 for under a 5er.

One of the big loss leaders that Costco sells at every store in the US is a whole cooked & hot roast/rotisserie chicken for US$4.99. It's always at the back of the store adjacent to the meat section. You were right next to that area I believe at 10:34; I'm curious if they're offering it in your UK store?

How do you get the membership? Because on the website it says ‘do you qualify’? And lists the jobs you must be in to qualify, I’m a care assistant which doesn’t come under any of the options….. so how are people getting these memberships?! 🤦🏻‍♀️😂 x

Most people on KZbin are considered self employed or business owners which in itself is qualifying, I unfortunately don't qualify either. I live vicariuosly through KZbin 😁

Wow. I'm humbled as an American. I don't belong to Costco because I don't need to be. There's so many other places here to shop for better prices. I just never realized this is not the always the case in a place like the UK.

I shop at the first Costco ever opened (Store #1). It’s interesting how they sell different foods based on consumer trends at each location. There are three Costco‘s within 10 miles from my home and some foods that sell at one might not sell at another. Does your Costco not sell cloths? I didn’t see any in your video.

Chicken breasts, tins of tuna, fillet steak is delicious. Cleaning things. Sanitary products. Cans of pop. Cheese. Bacon. We get the frozen salon. Not sure if it’s cheaper, they are large portions. Toilet room, kitchen roll. Dishwasher tablets 👍🏻

That is a great list! I think if we could store things it’s great to buy in bulk if cheaper, less packaging as well as money. I didn’t spot the tuna but that’s a good one as it lasts. Will need to go back for sure!! X

We go every month for our none perishables, meat (much better quality and we freeze it), cereal, coffee, tea, pastries, washing products. They always have offers on, once a member you get a email telling you their deals). We have the space to bulk shop but if you don’t you could always split with family or friends. When we go we always pick items up that friends or family want. This month was coffee, Coca Cola, Pepsi cans, washing liquid. We have the exec membership so get about 2% back once a year from our spending there which we usually put towards a bigger ticket item or clothing for the summer. You do need to check if it’s a good deal but when you’ve been shopping there a while you kind of know if it’s over priced.
