Hi Sheldon, I've been aware that some high end hotels have been placing their flat screen televisions behind mirrors--especially over fireplace mantels. That might be an option with of course, requiring some diligent research. Perhaps you could create the mirror to fit within the frame of the moulding to give it a more customized and of the period look. Cheers, Darryl

Hey Sheldon! The mice thing about the frame tv is that the box is the brain of the tv, so u could hang the tv on the wall and on the right side of your fireplace u could put a small piece of furniture and accommodate the sky box and all the technology ... Easy peasy, no need to build the wall out..... Love your home 🏠 and content . Andra from Italy

Filling out the fireplace wall is a great idea Sheldon it will look fab. Unfortunately tv’s aren’t aesthetically pleasing however a framed tv will look amazing. I did suggest in a previous vid to have the tv installed on an arm that slid out from underneath a coffee table, I don’t know how big the table would need to be to accommodate it though, but it would definitely be hidden and as your room is traditional, a hidden tv wouldn’t ruin the look. I am sure they also do tv arms that can go under your sofa Or a writing bureau that could house a tv

I have a frame tv. I converted a side board into media storage. I have a gadget that diverts the signal from a small receiver, Down some wires and into the hidden virgin media box, and frame Box in the cabinet.

For The tv, you can get a projection tv on a electric/remote that rolls up and down. Then you can put a picture there when the roller shade is up.

Hi Sheldon, I think you either need a new Samsung with no box , just loads of channels or if you want sky their sky glass, no box required. I got rid of sky last year, haven't missed it. I'm always on KZbin . The other problem with your tv is, it's too high. It should be more eye level. Is a bracket in that corner an option? It wouldn't take up floor space. 🤔 Love the colour of your new bed, gorgeous and loved going out and about with you 🤍🤎🤍 stay cosy.

The bed looks gorgeous! Personally, I loathe televisions! I support your decision to disguise yours, though I don't know how to do it. One idea which you most likely will not support is to put the box further down and connect it to the television via wires. That may work though IF you can channel the essential wires and cords through the paneling you have created? A possibility? Thank you for the video!

I had the same problem with my TV we removed the bracket and had the TV put on the wall using a couple of bolts that the TV slipped onto. We chased the wall out just enough to hide any wires. Make your own frame lots of tutorials online showing how to make them.

I love your house. re the TV problem was the box behind it a SKY Q box or a modem? If a Q box SKY Glass tvs do not need a box and work off your WIFI. When I changed over They gave the option of wall mounting the TV or on a unit. Would be fine on your wall as they are heavy. I also have a 1911 house in Manchester so understand the issues. Keep making the videos.

Why don’t you just make ur own frame for the tv u already have ? Get a bracket to keep the tv push more to the wall (flat) and make a frame with molding and you can get beautiful screen savers on KZbin to make it look like a painting while you’re not watching it
