Been following you for a while and love your videos I've realized one of the reasons I enjoy watching your videos so much - my childhood was similar to Delilah's (or at least how it seems from the video is how I remember mine), seems calm and encouraging and like lovely family relationships and takes me back to when I was younger. I have stayed in a shepherd’s hut just once in Cornwall, such a lovely setting but the bed 🛌 was so uncomfortable as it was a pull out bed! What camera do you use to vlog these days? I want to make some home videos of my kids and I just love how receptive your footage is to edits!

Majority of the time I’m using the canon G7x mark ii and during some of these clips (like the caves) I used the DJI Osmo pocket and very occasionally I’ll use my iPhone x

Please go back to just using the mic through the camera, the new mics pick up too much detail of the act of talking and raising the mic up to the mouth etc makes the volume suddenly go really loud and hurts your ears. Never noticed any issue with the sound before so the new mics are unnecessary : )

I agree I really dislike the new mic I don’t like how it sounds and in the last 6 videos there’s been issues with it. I prefer the sound from the camera much better the mic doesn’t sound right

Sorry, I’ve tried so hard to make sure it sounds smooth and there aren’t any spikes in volume etc, sounds fine on my computer but didn’t realise it wasn’t once uploaded 😩 there are times where they’re handy, like being in the caves or outside when it’s windy as my usually vlogging camera doesn’t pick up our voices well so I’ll try to figure out what I’m doing wrong before using them again xx
